Recognized as one of the most innovative figures in the European music scene, MOISÉS P. SÁNCHEZ has built a career that transcends genres and traditions. As a pianist, composer, and producer, his music blends diverse influences into a unique language celebrated for its vitality and originality.

His works have earned him prestigious accolades, including a Latin Grammy nomination in 2019 for the album Unbalanced: Concerto for Ensemble, dedicated to Leonard Bernstein. His career continued to gain international prominence with the 2024 release of his ninth album, Dedication II, with the German label Double Moon, after a number of other remarkable achievements such as his tours in South Korea and Japan the year before, his premieres at the Auditorio Nacional de Madrid (2021, 2022 and 2023) or the Independent Music Award (Spain) he received for his second time for Bach (Re)Inventions.

Moisés’s compositional approach is defined by a symphonic vision that bridges innovation and the legacy of the greatest composers. His adaptations of works by Bach, Beethoven, Stravinsky and Bartók and Falla more recently, reflect his distinctive perspective, establishing him as a leading personality in reimagining classics. Simultaneously, his original compositions, such as the symphonic ballet Querencia or the suite Guernica inspired by Picasso’s artwork, showcase his ability to create evocative and profoundly contemporary music.

With a career spanning over two decades, Moisés P. Sánchez has presented his projects at world-renowned festivals such as the Jarasum Festival in South Korea, the Festival Internacional de Santander, Jazzmadrid, the Festival Internacional de Música y Danza de Granada and the Internationales Bachfest Stuttgart among many others. He has collaborated with acclaimed artists including John Adams, Plácido Domingo, Benny Golson, Pablo Martín Caminero or Marco Mezquida, and has directed productions featuring Spanish music stars like Joan Manuel Serrat and Pasión Vega.
