From her beginnings at the Círculo Portuense de Ópera at the age of 10 and her training at the Porto Conservatory of Music, Lina_ has forged a career that combines tradition and the avant-garde, vitality and elegance. Passionate about the legacy of Amália Rodrigues, she has shone as one of its most authentic interpreters, taking fado beyond its borders.

With Fado Camões (Galileo, 2024), Lina_ takes a bold step, adding her work as a composer to her distinctive voice. Made in collaboration with the British producer Justin Adams, known for his work with artists such as Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) and Tinariwen, the album has been acclaimed by critics and has won awards in several countries. The tour has visited more than 20 countries, consolidating her position as one of the leading exponents of the genre today.

Lina_ is also known for her appearances on renowned stages such as the Fondation Cartier and the Mitsubishi Electric Hall, and at international festivals such as Eurosonic and La Mar de Músicas. In Spain, she has performed at the Auditorio de Galicia and L'Auditori de Barcelona, among other major venues and concert series. Her ability to connect with audiences and her creativity have been recognised with awards such as the Preis Der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik and the Coup de Coeur of the Académie Charles Cros.
